Long Bio
Adnan Turan is a Ph.D. student in the Educational Policy and Evaluation program at Arizona State University. Adnan's research centers on the critical issue of refugee education in formal and non-formal contexts. Adnan is committed to positively impacting this pressing global challenge with a particular focus on the assimilation of refugees, decolonizing refugee education, and the crucial role of NGOs in promoting refugees' assimilation. Adnan's academic journey includes a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in education from Turkey.
