Charlene Heldt

Charlene Heldt is a faculty associate in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. She has two bachelor's degrees and a master's degree in music, plus post-graduate work. In addition, she has completed her Orff Levels I, II and III from Arizona State University. Heldt has taught in both the Chicago and Phoenix metropolitan areas. She has been both a district mentor and cooperating teacher. She has received two Classroom Innovation Grants from the GEF Foundation and has received scholarships to complete the Orff levels at ASU. Heldt has taught and designed face-to-face, hybrid and online courses at both community college and university levels. She is also a contributing author for Activate Music Education Magazine and a member of AZOrff.
