Joy Griffin is an Associate Teaching Professor and Faculty Director of Venture Development at the Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. She teaches entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategy, and supports venture development initiatives that help students, faculty, and researchers translate innovative ideas into real-world impact.
Joy brings more than two decades of entrepreneurial and industry experience to the classroom. She co-founded and built a category-leading manufacturing technology company in the printer industry before founding a management consulting firm that advised organizations on strategy, innovation, and growth.
Her teaching emphasizes experiential learning, entrepreneurial mindset, and value creation, helping students develop the confidence and skills to tackle meaningful challenges. As a KEEN Leader, Joy collaborates with faculty across the country to integrate entrepreneurial mindset into engineering education and prepare the next generation of innovators and leaders.
