Jahaziel (Haziel) Linare earned his graduate degree in social work and his undergraduate degree in justice studies from Arizona State University. Linare is a Licensed Social Worker with more than 12 years of experience in the human services field. He currently serves as a Public Health Social Worker for the Maricopa County. His approach is strength-based and holistic while using evidence-based practices to meet the needs of the community. Also, Linare works as a contract Intake Specialist for PSA-Art Awakenings, where he completes comprehensive psycho-social assessments for individual with serious mental disorder. Since 2014, Haziel has been teaching Diversity and Immigration courses as a faculty sssociate for the ASU School of Social Work in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions.
Previously, Linare has worked as an Artistic Behavioral Health Specialist, blending his passion for the arts and social work. He is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian and intermediate in Portuguese. In his spare time, Linare enjoys traveling with his wife and children.
