Long Bio
Alimohammad (Sina) Sedaghat is a dedicated researcher and doctoral candidate in Architecture at Arizona State University, with a joint focus in the School of Design and the Department of Geography and Urban Planning. He actively participates in research projects at ASU's Southwest Urban Corridor Integrated Field Laboratory (SW-IFL).
His research is deeply rooted in the exploration of Building Performance Simulation, Urban Heat Island mitigation, and Urban Sustainability. Sina is particularly interested in the intersection of urban microclimate modeling, indoor and outdoor environmental quality, and the broader implications of environmental health. His work focuses on developing effective building design strategies that address contemporary challenges in urban environments through innovative design and analysis, ultimately contributing to the creation of climate-resilient neighborhoods and sustainable cities.
