Saba Rudsari

Saba Rudsari is an Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Professional Studies within the College of Integrative Science and Arts at Arizona State University. She previously served as Assistant Teaching Professor at ASU and as a College Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from New Mexico State University in 2022, where she also completed her MBA and M.S. in Environmental Engineering. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Yazd.

Dr. Rudsari’s research examines supply chain resilience, crisis-driven disruptions, leadership, empathy in organizational contexts, generative AI risks in project management, and project management practices. Her peer-reviewed publications appear in the Journal of Food Distribution Research, the International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalisation, and the Journal of Management Theory and Practices Research. Her ongoing research includes studies on generative AI in project management, leadership across generations, stakeholder engagement, the bullwhip effect during extended crises, and rapport-building in project environments.

Dr. Rudsari teaches a range of project management courses, including Project Management Theory, Introduction to Project Management, Project Schedule Management, and Project Procurement Management. She has also taught Production and Operations Management, Sustainable Construction & Green Building Design, and Engineering Mathematics.

Her professional service includes chairing faculty search committees, serving on curriculum committees, acting as Faculty Honors Advisor, and leading program-level initiatives within the Project Management Group. She is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute, the Project Management Institute (including the Phoenix Chapter), and the ASU PM Network.
