Long Bio

Zhongxue Chen is a professor of biostatistics in the College of Health Solutions at ASU. Chen was trained in statistics and has extensive experiences and expertise in biostatistics, statistical genetics, and bioinformatics. He has taught many biostatistics courses and advised more than 30 graduate (master- and doctor-level) students. He has authored/coauthored many peer-reviewed journal articles, including results/findings from statistical methodology research and statistical real data applications.

Research Interests

Dr. Chen's research interests include developing new theory and method in biostatistics, statistical genetics, bioinformatics, survival analysis, statistical hypothesis testing, meta-analysis, and machine learning. He is also interested in collaborative research through applying the state-of-the-art statistical methods to real data analysis.
