Ira A Fulton Engineering
Long Bio
Kevin Mora is an Ira A. Fulton Candidate for a B.S. in Computer Science in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University, and a Lucy Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Passionate about software development and research. Proficient in various high-level languages, frameworks, databases, libraries, and APIs. Knowledgeable in TCP/IP networking, and service architectures. His primary industry and research interests are in the areas of big data, high performance computing, and parallel computing.
Implemented user interfaces for HoloLens via C# at NASA SUITS, so design evaluators (DE) can get quick access to biomedical data, material composition data, system state and controls while guaranteeing smooth functioning during extravehicular activities (EVA) and responsive interaction with the local mission command center (LMCC), alerting other DE members if off nominal ranges are detected in the spacesuit or biometric telemetry.
Previously involved in the development of a Preliminary Design Review (PDR) at NASA L'SPACE - the mission aimed to land a rover on the East Region of Occator with the goal of doing an in-situ analysis after mapping potential drilling zones based on their hydrogen concentration, which shall bring knowledge about the composition and structure of organic molecules in Ceres. Created a 3D visualization of the terrain based on JMARS data so engineers could get a better insight about the elevation, distances, topology and slope of the surface in Ceres.
