Research Interests
My research sits at the interface between technology and civics. My current focus is on understanding the disintermediation of news information gatekeeping by distributed media capture, digital platforms, and synthetic data generation. In particular, I'm interested in helping resolve the tension between institutional trust and pluralistic representation. I leverage game theory, experiments, machine learning, and psychometric analyses in these works.
