Dr. Adam Henry is an innovative leader in (international) higher education with proven successes in enrollment management, student success services, education abroad, program development and management, university teaching, and international student programming. An articulate communicator and team leader; skilled in guiding teams, and quickly engaging team members with the ability to develop and advance significant global initiatives and partnerships through strategic relationship building.
Henry joined the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering (FSE) in 2022 as the Associate Director of Engineering Outreach and Student Recruitment. Prior to joining FSE, Henry was Executive Director of Student Success for ASU's Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2019 to 2022. Prior to Thunderbird, Henry directed the ASU Global Education Office. As Director, he advanced the vision, strategy and implementation of study abroad at ASU and its connection across all disciplines. Previous to this leadership role, he was Assistant Director of Global Launch at ASU and previous to joining the university, he directed an advocacy and service-learning program for an international non-governmental organization.
Henry has lived, studied and worked in Chengdu, China, for three years. He has studied, volunteered and traveled extensively in more than 30 countries. A native of Tempe, Henry lives in Tempe with his wife and three children.
