Adam Symonds received his doctoral degree in communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California where he studied critical rhetorical and cultural methods, specifically investigating representations of Whiteness in popular media. He's led ASU Forensics since July 2008. In 2013, Symonds was named the Val A. Browning Coach of the Year for college policy debate.
