Dr. Shruti Saxena is Asst. Professor of Marketing at W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University and also teaches at Thunderbird School of Global Management as a Visiting Faculty.
Shruti has a PhD in marketing from W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University and MBA from NMIMS, India. Her dissertation focused on customer experience and coproduction in service interactions, won several awards from the AMA and set the foundation for her current work. She has also presented in several academic and industry conferences, published in Journal of Interactive Marketing and coauthored a McGraw Hill textbook. Her current research interests are in the areas of digital transformation, data and AI driven product innovation, global sustainable consumption and services marketing.
She also has diverse experience across product management, digital marketing, data analytics, and technology transformation. She has successfully led global initiatives in digital marketing and customer experience, driving innovation through compelling product visions and multi-year strategic roadmaps that influenced cross-functional, geographically distributed teams across complex organizational environments.
Shruti’s industry experience spans consulting, financial services, and academia. She has held senior leadership roles at top-tier institutions, including Senior Vice President at Citizens Bank, Vice President at Wells Fargo, and Director at American Express; and teaching positions at Thunderbird School of Global Management. She is also the founder of her own consulting firm, where she advises clients on digital transformation and marketing strategy, helping organizations navigate change and drive data driven growth in a digital-first world.
She is married, mother of 2 teenagers, regular practitioner of Rajayoga meditation, loves hiking, traveling and her new favorite is watching K-dramas.
