Michelle Schwartz has worked in sustainability at ASU since 2005 and in academia since 2001. She currently manages ASU's university-wide network of over 800 global futures scientists and scholars. Michelle also serves as the operations team manager for ASU PM Network, a volunteer-run staff and faculty organization of project managers dedicated to improving our members' project management skills through networking, educational activities, tools and resources.
Serving as a connector and strategic manager, Michelle helps scientists work together by understanding and communicating the university's intellectual inventory -- particularly in regards to global futures. Her work with the network includes programming, internal communications, research development, and facilitating transdisciplinary faculty collaborations.
Formerly alumni liaison for the School of Sustainability and a longtime manager of the marketing and communications team within the Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation, Michelle is a certified workshop leader with the Strategic Doing Institute. She holds professional certificates in internal communications and organizational leadership, a M.Admin. in marketing and communications management, a B.A. in informative writing and a B.S. in business administration.
