Long Bio
Matthew Voorhees is a Teaching Professor and Associate Faculty Chair of Barrett, the Honors College. He previously held the position of Associate Professor of Political Science at Hartwick College, where he taught courses on the history of political thought, American political thought, the presidency, and constitutional law and politics. He earned his Ph.D. in political science from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, where he studied political theory, with secondary emphases in American politics and public law. His research and teaching interests also include democratic theory, politics and the arts, and music.
