Allen is an sedimentologist whose research is focused on understanding sedimentary and tectonic processes involved in the formation and evolution of sedimentary basins over geologic timescales.

My research focuses on both planetary geology and geospatial data. My work leverages GIS and remote sensing to produce geologic maps of planetary surfaces. I seek to refine these skills to support human exploration of space.
