Almășan teaches Culture and Society Transformation and Romanian Language and Culture at SILC. She is a former ASU Fulbright scholar (School of Public Affairs - 2010-2011) and holds a doctorate in public management.

Tara Bartlett is Senior Research Analyst for ASU's Participatory Governance Initiative. Her research focuses on participatory governance and democratic innovations within school communities in partnership with youth.

Jennifer Clifton is a Project Manager with Walton Sustainability Solutions Service. She engages in participatory action research to examine structural injustices and re-make policies and practices for a more just world.

Ame's interests include social and environmental justice, sustainable development, socioecological systems, power, values, and trauma and how they relate to collective environmental governance.
