Elisabeth Ilboudo Nébié is an assistant professor at the School of Human Evolution and Social Change. Her research focuses on the human dimensions of land degradation, food and water insecurity in West Africa.

Katzenstein is a cultural anthropologist working at the intersections of American studies, critical race studies, and political anthropology. Her book project explores how U.S. police absorb and resist reform efforts.
