Kristy Roschke is a media literacy scholar and educator. She is the director of the News Co/Lab, an initiative aimed at advancing media literacy via journalism, education and technology.

As a scholar, Weight is fascinated by the interface of religion with media, news, the social construction of reality, and other social institutions like the arts, politics, family, and education.

Ashley Gimbal earned her PhD from ASU in 2018. She earned her master’s degree from San Francisco State University and bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico. Her research examines mass media framing.

Robert Mack's research generally examines the text-audience interface in U.S. American popular culture. He draws widely on rhetorical, reception, critical, and psychoanalytic approaches in order to analyze this relationship.

Sarah Florini is an Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies in the Department of English and the Associate Director of the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics at Arizona State University.

Monica De La Torre earned her doctorate in Feminist Studies from the University of Washington in 2016. Her research and and teaching practices bridges Chicana feminist theory, Latina/o media studies, and radio production.
