Long Bio
Dean Frias is the Special Project Management Intern at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society. With over a decade of experience in informal education and community development, Dean has played a pivotal role in enhancing museums and educational spaces through community-building, STEM material development for NASA and NSF, and supporting special initiatives across a range of academic and public institutions.
Dean's professional journey includes roles at the Center for Innovation in Informal STEM Learning, the National Informal STEM Educators Network, the School for the Future of Innovation in Society, SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium, the National Marine Educators Association, and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
Dean is passionate about fostering community development and promoting inclusivity within universities and museum settings. Striving to create engaging, accessible experiences that reflect local communities, enrich learning opportunities, and advance institutional development goals.
