Heidi Gracie is the Chief Operating Officer of ASU’s Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across corporate, nonprofit, and higher education sectors. She has held roles at Coca-Cola, Burger King Corporation, and the Public Broadcasting Service, where she led large-scale initiatives that drove organizational growth, operational efficiency, and brand impact.
Her professional journey has been deeply intertwined with the transformative evolution of the Global Futures Laboratory (GFL), where she’s played a pivotal role since 2018.
Heidi has strategically navigated through diverse industries, showcasing her adeptness in dynamic and rapidly evolving environments. Her career reflects a penchant for not only initiating process enhancements but also devising innovative strategies to attain operational excellence. Functioning as a catalyst for change and an innovator, she has consistently led transformative initiatives, significantly elevating brand awareness. Her proficiencies focus on robust operational management, collaborative communication, relationship-building skills, and hands-on experience in project management within complex, matrixed environments.
Previously, as Executive Director of Marketing and Communications for ASU’s Knowledge Enterprise, Heidi spearheaded efforts to elevate the university’s research excellence and global influence.
She holds a BA in Communications from Chatham University.
