Kiara Peña is a Career Advisor with Arizona State University Career Services, where she supports undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni through individualized advising, workshops, presentations, and career-related events. She helps students explore career paths, strengthen resumes, CVs, cover letters, and other application materials, develop job-search and networking strategies, prepare for interviews, and use LinkedIn and generative AI tools intentionally in their career development.
Before joining ASU, Kiara served as a Career Development Coordinator at Northern Arizona University. She brings more than three years of experience in university career services, along with a background in K–12 and TESL education. Drawing on teaching, coaching, and student-centered learning, she helps students recognize their strengths, communicate the value of their experiences, and make informed, goal-aligned career decisions.
Kiara is a double alumna of Northern Arizona University, where she earned a B.S. in Secondary English Education and a M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language.
