Dr. Byrne is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Management and Entrepreneurship Department at the W. P. Carey School of Business, and the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and New Business Design; where he is the faculty coordinator for the popular Founder's Lab Honors Thesis, New Venture Challenge Course/Competition, and W. P. Carey Accelerator programs, among others. Dr. Byrne focuses on engaging students and stakeholders with 'the Business of Entrepreneurship' through experiential education based on real-world opportunities. His expertise includes impact and constraint-based entrepreneurialism, as well as democratizing access to entrepreneurial opportunities for the rising generation(s).
