Long Bio
Behshad Mohajer is a graduate researcher pursuing a PhD. program in Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering at Arizona State University. His research focuses on understanding the spatial and temporal dynamics of water supply change in arid and semi-arid regions, particularly in the Colorado River Basin. He studies how long-term trends in climate, land use, and policy choices interact to influence regional water supplies, aiming to support more sustainable resource management in water-scarce environments.
By leveraging both data and models, Behshad seeks to bridge the gap between technical analysis and real-world decision-making, helping stakeholders and water resources managers anticipate future risks and design adaptive responses.
Behshad is committed to continuous learning, innovation, equity and integrity in his research and professional endeavors.
