Mauricio Mejía is a Professor of Design and Associate Director of Research and Knowledge Enterprise for The Design School at Arizona State University. His current work is about strategic design and intentional change. He explores how designers can address complex situations and how other practitioners use a design mindset. He often collaborates with practitioners and researchers in other fields, such as health, sustainability, business, and education. Dr. Mejía studies and works with diverse design practices and approaches such as design research, UX design, service design, co-design, and design futures. At ASU, he established the Transformation Lab.
