I am the founder and former Board President of Austin Creative Reuse, a non-profit organization in Austin, Texas. Austin Creative Reuse's mission is to foster conservation and reuse through creativity, education and community building. I grew the organization over 9 years and after hiring the first executive director, chose to apply for the Peace Corps. I served in the Republic of Moldova as an NGO Advising Volunteer from 2017 to 2019.
Prior to this, I worked for Whole Foods Market in various leadership roles for 14 years. My last role was as the Communication Systems Global Marketing Director, in which I was responsible for social and email marketing strategy and operations, as well as user support for store/ customer communication systems. Prior to Whole Foods Market, I held various leadership and/or Individual Contributor roles supporting Marketing, Communications, Strategic Services and/or Operations working with Agilent Technologies, ESPN X Games, Nortel, North Carolina State University, and First Union Mortgage.

Throughout my career, I have seen how technology has changed the way we do business and how organizations interact with their stakeholders. In the next part of my career, I would like to be involved in helping others to understand the past and future implications of technology on communities and the economic, political, and social development of those communities as well as to continue to support the usage of technology to assist social-entrepreneurship and organizational development. My current research focuses on national identity through digital storytelling in the Republic of Moldova.
