Long Bio
Rosalie Fisher is a Communication scholar whose research explores the intersection of visual communication and embodied cognition. This work spans across art, film, performance, media studies, and visual rhetoric, to conflict negotiation, intercultural dialogue, emotional contagion, gender, and community engagement. Dr. Fisher has a fine arts and performance background, which informs her work in the areas of community engagement, social justice, and communication. She has been an educator trainer for the National Conflict Resolution Center as well as the Museum of Tolerance. She is a certified mediator and Civil Dialogue facilitator.
