Long Bio

Deborah Prewitt joined the graphic information technology faculty at ASU as a full-time lecturer in 2011 after teaching part-time for the program for two years. She has more than 25 years of web design, development, management and content writing experience, in addition to 30 years of experience in print design. She is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). Her areas of expertise are usability, UX, digital accessibility, user-centered design, web content writing and online learning. Prewitt has held UX and/or web design/development positions with ASU, Maricopa County Attorney's Office, and Tribune Newspapers, among others.
