Bethney Michaels is a lecturer in communication working to develop strong pedagocial appraoches in order to meet the needs of students. Additionally, Michaels is a communication scholar focusing on the intersection of health, organizational, and risk and crisis communication. Specifically exploring the roles that mediated messages play in preventing or responding to a crisis.
