Oh works on the cultural connection among East Asian societies, in particular, history of the book and print culture of East Asia and linguistic histories of Chinese and Korean.

Elly van Gelderen is a syntactician interested in language change. Her work shows how regular syntactic change (grammaticalization and the linguistic cycle) provides insight in the Faculty of Language.

I'm very interested in linguistic typology and constrution(al models of) grammar and how they can inform and improve our understanding of the grammar of un(der)described languages.
