Harleen Kaur is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Sanford School. Her research interests are in racism, state formation, and belonging, while her teaching covers a variety of local and global approaches to inequalities.

Jesus Orozco is a Ph.D. student in Sociology at ASU studying linguistic inequality in the criminal legal system. His research examines how language fluency, citizenship, and class shape legal outcomes.

Jennifer Carlson is a Professor of Sociology at Arizona State University, a MacArthur Fellow (Class of 2022), and a national expert on guns in US society.

Savannah DiGregorio is an Assistant Professor of Animal Studies. Her research explores the relationship between race, species, and power.
