Kathleen Waldron has taught at ASU West since 1993. Her primary focus areas are related to family dynamics. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on Marriage and the Family; Parenting; Developmental Psychology; Adolescence; Courtship and Marriage; Human Sexuality; Sexuality in Midlife and Beyond; Psychology of Aging; Perspectives on Aging (controversies); Communication and Aging; Aging and the Family; Women in Midlife and Beyond; Caregiving in Later-Life; and others. In addition, she is the former director of ASU's gerontology progam and School of Aging. She currently teaches classes in psychology, sociology, and communication. She is also the internship liaison for The Washington Center in Washington, DC. (Note: not the ASU Barrett and O'Connor Washington Center.) She regularly presents to community groups on any of the above topics as well as the Myers-Briggs, stress management, and other areas.
