Elaine currently works for the ASU Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Business and Finance Communications Group as an Associate Director of Marketing and Communications. Elaine specializes in web content management and development and graphic design.

Dr. Rettger received her Doctorate in Educational Technology and Instructional Design from Arizona State University in 2017. Her dissertation was Microlearning with Mobile Devices: Effects of Distributed Presentation Learning and the Testing Effect on Mobile Devices (Smartphones).
She received her Masters degree in EdTech from ASU in 2011.
