Mikey Foster Estes is an artist and writer working across film/video, installation, photography, sculpture, and sound. Since Fall 2019 he has served as director of Gallery 100, Harry Wood Gallery, and Step Gallery. His films and videos have been exhibited and screened internationally, most recently at the Bogotá Experimental Film Festival, Colombia, and the Kinoskop Analog Experimental Film Festival, Serbia (2023). He has participated in group exhibitions at venues including ASHES/ASHES, Project Art Distribution (P.A.D), RIT City Art Space, Tempe Center for the Arts, and Vision Gallery, among others. Solo exhibitions of his work have been held at Eye Lounge, Phoenix (2019, 2021, 2022), and Microscope Gallery, New York (2018). His short essay, “Private Rainbows,” appeared in Tongue, Taste, Appetite Vol. 3 (TWOFORTY Publishing, 2018), and his writing on art has been published in Java Magazine and Phoenix New Times.
