Barbara D'Angelo is clinical associate professor of technical communication. She received her doctorate in technical communication and rhetoric from Texas Tech University and her master's degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
D'Angelo's research interests include writing assessment; the impact of assessment on curriculum development, outcomes, and pedagogy; threshold concepts and transfer of learning; metacognition; and information literacy.
