Ashley Katikos is the Assistant Division Director of Professional Experiences at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. As an experienced teacher leader and passionate clinical faculty member, Ashley supports a team of strategists and faculty who work directly with teacher candidates across their professional experiences. Her team provides personalized coaching, feedback, and support to both teacher candidates and mentor teachers to further support a student-centered coaching model.
Prior to joining the Mary Lou Fulton team, she served as a TAP (teacher advancement program) master teacher and school administrator. In this capacity, she provided leadership, professional development, and a student-centered focus to the title 1 campus she served. Her school was recognized and awarded the Educational Excellence Impact Governors Award for student achievement growth and the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College Award for TAP implementation.
Ashley has an earned bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Western Michigan University and a master's degree in educational leadership and obtained a K-12 principal certificate from Northern Arizona University. She is currently in the process of finishing her dissertation publication entitled: FACULTY PERCEPTIONS OF ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING: AN INTERPRETIVE PHENOMENOLOGICAL ANALYSIS
