Ashlee has been a faculty member at Arizona State University since Fall 2019. She brings over a decade of experience in student support, academic program development, and curriculum design, with a strong focus on fostering student success. Before joining ASU, she served as a STEM Coordinator for Tutoring Services, where she recruited, trained, and mentored student tutors and supplemental instruction leaders.
Ashlee’s teaching philosophy centers on student-centered learning, emphasizing empathy, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. She is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and personal growth. Her curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs of students, equipping them with problem-solving skills that prepare them for both academic and professional success.
Beyond the classroom, Ashlee is passionate about literature, particularly women’s nonfiction and literary fiction. She is also an avid fitness enthusiast, an IMDB trivia expert, and a devoted Halloween fanatic. She enjoys exploring the Arizona desert with her partner, Brandon, and their two children.
