Long Bio
Entering my seventh year in higher education in Fall 2024, I am reflecting on the rewarding journey I have experienced thus far. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to take on a part-time faculty role while continuing my work as a Senior Academic Success Advisor. Although my main areas of expertise are in admissions and advising, I also have teaching experience across various educational levels, from elementary to college. My initial college teaching engagement was with ASU 101 in Fall 2023, and I am eagerly anticipating teaching UNI 220 starting in Fall 2024. I hold a bachelors degree in Social Science with a concentration in History & Education, as well as a masters degree in Management and Organizational Behavior, both obtained from Benedictine University.
In addition to my involvement in higher education, I also work as both a film critic and filmmaker. I am a member of the Phoenix Critics Circle (PCC) and manage my own film production company, BAT Productions. Due to my passion for film, I have decided to pursue a second masters degree in Film and Media Studies at ASU, which I plan to finish by Fall 2025.
