Marios Papachristou is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
His research lies at the intersection of networks, algorithms, and information systems, with a focus on information diffusion, LLM agents, AI alignment, financial and supply chain contagion, privacy-preserving AI, and network formation.
His work has been supported by fellowships and grants from LinkedIn, the Onassis Foundation, A.G. Leventis Foundation, Gerondelis Foundation, and Cornell University. He has collaborated with Microsoft’s Office of Applied Research and Twitter Cortex (now X) on applied research in LLMs and network analytics.
