Long Bio

Dion Fryson is a Cognitive Wellness Practitioner, certified through ASU & Mayo Clinic in Health and Wellbeing. His robust background spans nutrition, education, and body-mind practices, complemented by a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Cognitive Ontology from TUOS. He approaches every mind as a dynamic system, focused on clarity and deep understanding. His interdisciplinary path includes roles in teaching, consulting, and technical training, both within the U.S. and Mexico. To support his studies and maintain independence, he took on diverse roles, including photography, modeling and event production. His professional focus consistently revolves around understanding how consciousness, behavior, and perception interact within structured systems.

What sets Dion apart is his systems-level approach to understanding the mind. He views each person and every domain of knowledge not as fixed categories, but as dynamic, evolving processes. This perspective allows him to explore ideas across traditional boundaries, always prioritizing deep analysis and genuine insight over predefined labels or trends. He is passionate about long-term learning and self-reliance, constantly seeking to integrate knowledge for greater clarity.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dion values reflection, self-connection, and direct experience. His personal journey includes diverse experiences such as studying movement through Pilates and nutrition science, alongside adventurous pursuits from mountain biking in Virginia, rock climbing in Mexico and failed surfing-attempts in San Diego. When he needs to reset, he often retreats into off-grid nature, embracing hiking and high altitude travel as ways to reflect, recalibrate, and reconnect with fundamental principles.  He is currently an author of a project in a Quantum Mindfulness framework

Service

Behavioral Science & Cognitive Ontology ISCO Project (8-year engagement)

  • Employed a long-term, naturalistic observational methodology to study human behavior, free from the constraints of traditional academic research.
  • Conducted a multi-layered data collection process that integrated video surveillance and human observation to capture authentic, unscripted social interactions.
  • Utilized a unique participant and staffing strategy to eliminate observer bias, where guests and staff were unwitting participants, ensuring their behavior was genuine and uninfluenced by the study's purpose.
  • Developed a unique ethical framework that prioritized participant safety and anonymity over traditional informed consent, which was identified as a source of research bias.
  • The study’s findings provided unique insights into social rituals, subconscious assessments, and pre-event behavioral patterns, with a focus on human interaction.
Consulting

ISCO (International Studies of Cognitive Ontology) (8-year engagement)

  • Utilized a unique, self-funded operational model that enabled a long-term, naturalistic observational study, bypassing the limitations of traditional academic research and grant cycles.
  • Implemented a multi-layered data collection methodology, integrating video surveillance with human observation and qualitative interviews to triangulate and validate findings.
