Netra Chhetri works to advance innovative approaches to climate adaptation that tie together and link multi-scalar processes between environmental dynamics and social outcomes.

Milan Shrestha is an Associate Teaching Professor at ASU. His current research interests focus on disaster risks and vulnerability in mountains, urban-rural linkages of land system change, and food and agricultural systems.

Arnim Wiek conducts research in sustainability science, with a focus on sustainable food businesses and economies in the U.S. and in Germany. He directs the Sustainable Food Economy Lab.

Troy Schmitz is Professor and Director of the Morrison School of Agribusiness. His areas of expertise include global agricultural trade, food and agricultural policy analysis, food security, and data analytics.

Ashok Mishra’s research interests lie in food policy and focuses on the economic performance of global agribusiness as a result of production efficiency, mergers and acquisitions, and volatile commodity prices.

Estève Giraud oversees all research projects at the Swette Center relating to organic and urban agriculture, policy interventions, food security, food sovereignty and food systems resilience.

Thomson's research focuses on the political economy of development, authoritarianism and transitions to democracy.

Lauren Chenarides is an Assistant Professor at the Morrison School of Agribusiness in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
