With a focus on critical periods of growth and development, Nelson investigates the relationship between familial dynamics, culturally salient forms of social and financial capital and the health of Black Caribbean families.

Dr. Domino is the Director of the Center for Health Information and Research and a Professor in the College.

Verdecias-Pellum’s research aims to develop tailored evidence-based interventions to reduce the severity of social needs to improve diabetes self-management and reduce comorbidity risk among marginalized populations.

Owolabi researches chronic disease prevention and management and designs interventions that leverage digital health technologies to improve diabetes self-management behaviors and outcomes for underserved populations.

Dr. Gabriel is a professor of medicine and epidemiology. chair of the Arizona State University Health Outcomes Design Council with the Office of the President.
