- Born and raised in France, Chery is a French instructor, a doctoral candidate, and the assistant to the French language and culture in Lyon global education summer program at ASU. She enjoys teaching and learning from her students.
- Katie Bernstein's work examines the language and literacy learning of linguistically diverse students and the contexts that shape their learning: from peer interactions to teacher beliefs to state-level language policy.
- Liao's research focuses on speaking and writing interlanguage development, L2 assessment, and computer-assisted language learning.
- PhD student Hale teaches SILC’s undergraduate Introduction to Linguistic course. His degree program is in ILC (Linguistics), focusing on phonology and second language pedagogy.
- Dr. Flanagan is the Director of Spanish Second Language Acquisition and teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Spanish as an Associate Teaching Professor.
