Born and raised in France, Chery is a French instructor, a doctoral candidate, and the assistant to the French language and culture in Lyon global education summer program at ASU. She enjoys teaching and learning from her students.

Katie Bernstein's work examines the language and literacy learning of linguistically diverse students and the contexts that shape their learning: from peer interactions to teacher beliefs to state-level language policy.

Liao's research focuses on speaking and writing interlanguage development, L2 assessment, and computer-assisted language learning.

PhD student Hale teaches SILC’s undergraduate Introduction to Linguistic course. His degree program is in ILC (Linguistics), focusing on phonology and second language pedagogy.

Dr. Flanagan is the Director of Spanish Second Language Acquisition and teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Spanish as an Associate Teaching Professor.

Oh has developed the curricula for a sequential first-year, second-year, and fourth-year Korean language program as well as the corresponding materials.

Ayoub Daliri's research is focused on understanding neural mechanisms underlying speech production and stuttering.

Lima teaches linguistics and composition in the Department of English.
