Elder is interested in astronomical instrumentation. She is currently studying the Epoch of Reionization via 21cm radio waves, and understanding how instrumental elements affect detections.

Levin is a theoretical physicist and fiction author. He is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Physics. He is interested in cosmology, black holes, quantum gravity, and theology. He writes science and philosophical fiction.
