Rafael Martínez is an assistant professor of Southwest Borderlands in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. Rafael’s work focuses on immigration, migration, and the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands.

Koyama’s leadership practice, and her research, are informed by her commitment to equity, inclusion, and fairness.

Anita Huizar-Hernández is an associate professor in the School of International Letters and Cultures. She studies the ways literature, film, and other texts have consolidated or challenged myths about Arizona, the West, and the U.S.-Mexico borderlands.
