Long Bio
Hello! My name is Gabrielle, and I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, as a first-generation college student. I come from a family of Vietnamese refugees whose experiences have profoundly influenced my drive to assist underserved communities.
After over ten years of healthcare experience, I now serve as a Registration Scheduler, ensuring patients receive seamless experiences and coordinating necessary services. I dedicate myself to patient advocacy because personal experiences with my grandmother and uncle revealed systemic barriers that minorities face in accessing care.
I received my Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently attending Arizona State University, working towards my Bachelor of Science in Community Health. The HonorHealth ASU Scholarship has been awarded to me, supporting my academic and professional development.
Being fluent in Vietnamese and proficient in Spanish fuels my passion for dismantling communication barriers in healthcare. I strive to expand healthcare access and community empowerment while developing a patient care system that delivers compassionate and equal treatment for all patients.
