Long Bio
Hello, I’m Gabrielle! I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and I’m proud to be a first-generation college student. My family are Vietnamese refugees, and their experiences have shaped my passion for helping others.
I’ve worked in healthcare for over a decade and currently serve as a Registration Scheduler, where I help ensure smooth patient experiences and efficient healthcare coordination. Advocating for patients, especially minorities, is deeply personal to me. I’ve witnessed firsthand the barriers in healthcare through my grandmother and uncle, which inspired me to pursue a career where I can make a difference.
I’m fluent in Vietnamese and know my fair share of Spanish, which helps me connect with diverse patients and bridge communication gaps in healthcare. Now, as a student at Arizona State University, I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Coordination as a transfer student from Southern New Hampshire University. I’m also honored to be part of the HonorHealth ASU Scholarship Program, which is helping me gain the knowledge and skills to support patients better and improve healthcare processes.
I’m excited to start my education journey here at ASU and take the next step toward making a meaningful impact in healthcare. I aim to continue growing in the field, breaking down barriers, and ensuring all patients receive the care they deserve.
