Long Bio
Jordan Miller is a Teaching Professor and Program Director for the Master of Public Health program. She has previously led the Population Health MS and Health Education and Health Promotion BS programs. She holds master's and doctoral degrees in public health. After completing her undergraduate studies in psychology and human services, she worked in direct service for more than a decade, primarily with families and children. Her research interests include health communication (especially digital), and applied and experiential learning in post-secondary education. She has also been funded by CDC and HRSA to develop specialized training program curricula. She is faculty advisor to the Diabetes Link student organization and is an advocate for individuals with diabetes (especially type 1).
