Frankie Sullivan holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Arizona State University. She has worked in mathematics education for more than 20 years. Mrs. Sullivan has worked as a high school mathematics teacher, college mathematics instructor, and professional development presenter for K-12 mathematics educators. She joined ASU's Downtown Phoenix campus Fall 2015 as associate faculty member and then mathematics lecturer in Fall 2017. She has a professional love of teaching, and has additional interests in problem solving and critical-thinking teaching strategies, how student-teacher relationships impact student success and retention, and how outreach activities with area high schools can improve the mathematics preparedness of ASU's incoming freshmen.
