Long Bio
Lindsie Spengler is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the division of teacher preparation at Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. She began her teaching career as an English Language Arts teacher in a K-12 public school setting and became a National Board Certified Teacher (English Language Arts/Early Adolescence) in 2018 before transitioning to higher education. She is passionate about developing student agency through the use of effective teaching practices and cultivating effective classroom management practices grounded in positive student-teacher relationships. In addition to her faculty role, Professor Spengler is serving as the Secondary Area Lead and the project manager for Project ACCLaIM: Advancing Civics Curriculum Learning through Instructional Microcredentials.
