Large-scale training and development programs with Living Works, SafeTALK, and the AZ Department of Corrections on suicide first aid and mental health.

Research initiative titled Gathering Ourselves, in collaboration with colleagues from the University of Indiana and Northern Arizona University, with aims to generate knowledge, elevate Indigenous voices, and support the development of sustainable, tribally led approaches to wellness within correctional settings. Ultimately, this initiative strives to strengthen pathways to healing for Native people both during incarceration and as they return to their families and communities.

Research focused on cross-cultural competencies of integrated behavioral health providers in China and Vietnam. Research aimed at Indigenous-led health initiatives to improve health equity and health outcomes for Native American and Alaska Native populations. 

10+ years’ experience teaching traditional, online, and blended learning courses in social psychology, health psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, management, organizational behavior, and healthcare leadership, systems, and delivery, health theory, social determinants of health, cultural diversity health and illness.
