Profiles in "Modeling and Simulation" Expertise Area
- Neithalath's research interests are on decarbonization of concrete through innovations in cement manufacturing, as well as through sustainable cementitious materials and construction processes such as 3D printing
- Beckstein's research group studies the molecular mechanisms of biological processes with advanced computer simulations. His group also develops new computational tools and algorithms.
- Sala is the Julie A. Wrigley, Regents, and Foundation Professor and the Founding Director of the Global Drylands Center at ASU.
- Pavlic (electrical eng., computer sci., & behavioral ecology) uses ecological thinking to enhance design of engineered complex adaptive systems and engineering tools to find new perspectives on biological form and function.
- Sean Seyler is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Physics and Center for Biological Physics at ASU. He joined Steve Pressé's lab in 2018 after receiving his PhD in Physics at ASU under Oliver Beckstein.
- Zhou's research focuses on the neural basis of hearing, in particular, the tasks related to sound localization and sound identification in multi-talker environments.
